The Drum Hub Camp

Terms & Conditions

These Terms & Conditions apply to attendance at The Drum Hub Camp ("the Camp").

By applying for, purchasing, or attending the Camp, you agree to the terms set out below.

1. Application & Acceptance

  • Attendance at the Camp is by application only.
  • Submitting an application does not guarantee acceptance.
  • We reserve the right to accept or decline any application at our discretion in order to protect the quality and integrity of the group.

2. Operator

The Camp is operated by Groove University LLC, a company registered in the United States.

3. Payment & Booking

  • Full payment is required to secure a place at the Camp.
  • Prices are shown for transparency and are final.
  • A place is not confirmed until payment has been received in full.

4. Refund & Cancellation Policy

All payments are non-refundable.

Due to venue commitments, planning costs, and limited capacity, we are unable to offer refunds for any reason, including but not limited to:

  • change of plans
  • illness
  • travel disruption
  • personal circumstances

Please ensure you are confident in your availability before securing your place.

5. Transfers

  • In some cases, we may allow a place to be transferred to another individual with prior written approval.
  • Any replacement attendee must meet the Camp eligibility criteria and be approved in advance.
  • We reserve the right to decline a transfer request.

6. Travel, Accommodation & Responsibility

Attendees are responsible for arranging their own:

  • flights
  • transfers
  • travel documentation
  • visas
  • health and entry requirements for travel to the United States
  • travel to and from Red Bridge Studios
  • accommodations
  • meals
  • travel insurance

We strongly recommend comprehensive travel insurance.

Important: You are solely responsible for ensuring you meet all health, vaccination, and entry requirements for travel to the United States. This includes researching requirements based on your specific travel route and any connecting flights or layovers you may have. We are not responsible for denied boarding, entry refusal, or costs incurred due to failure to meet these requirements.

We are not responsible for:

  • travel delays or cancellations
  • weather events
  • transportation issues
  • costs incurred as a result of non-attendance
  • denied boarding or entry due to failure to meet health, vaccination, or documentation requirements

7. Force Majeure

We shall not be liable for any delay, disruption, or cancellation of the Camp due to events outside our reasonable control, including but not limited to:

  • natural disasters
  • government restrictions
  • travel bans
  • acts of terrorism
  • pandemics

In such circumstances, refunds are not guaranteed and will be handled on a case-by-case basis.

8. Scope of the Camp

The Camp is:

  • not a 1-to-1 coaching program
  • not physical therapy
  • not medical or professional advice

The Camp is designed as a group-based experience focused on technique development, practice clarity, and hands-on drumming instruction.

Attendees are responsible for their own practice decisions and outcomes.

9. Conduct & Participation

Attendees are expected to:

  • behave respectfully
  • contribute constructively
  • maintain the integrity of the group environment

We reserve the right to remove any attendee whose behaviour is disruptive, inappropriate, or negatively impacts the experience of others.

No refund will be issued in such cases.

10. Recording & Media

To protect the privacy and openness of the group:

  • Attendees may not record sessions, conversations, or other participants without prior written consent.
  • Photography or video recording by the organiser may occur for documentation and educational purposes.

By attending, you grant permission for reasonable photo or video content to be used for documentation or promotional purposes, unless you request otherwise in writing.

11. Physical Activity & Health

Drumming is a physical activity. Attendees participate at their own risk.

By attending, you confirm that:

  • You are in adequate physical health to participate in drumming activities
  • You will inform the instructor of any physical limitations or injuries that may affect your participation

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Groove University LLC is not liable for:

  • injury or physical discomfort resulting from participation
  • pre-existing conditions aggravated by drumming activities
  • indirect or consequential losses

12. Liability

Attendance at the Camp is at your own risk.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Groove University LLC is not liable for:

  • loss, injury, or damage
  • indirect or consequential losses
  • practice or performance outcomes resulting from attendance

13. Governing Law

These Terms & Conditions shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Maryland, United States.

14. Acceptance of Terms

By applying for, purchasing, or attending the Camp, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agree to these Terms & Conditions.
